So last month Gabe started Kindergarten, and Ella turned 2 within one week. My heart was breaking, but I have learned that I am getting to give Ella more time, and Gabe is having a blast at school, and honestly I can't wait each day to hear his story of the day. I seriously should start writing them down, so we have them forever. They are pretty good, and they always have something to do with the monkey bars. In the latest one the play ground opened up and swallowed the unhappy recess duty teacher and replaced her with Ms. Williams because she is happy.....I said unhappy teacher to protect her identity....he called her out by name.
Ella has developed a baditude! She is a diva in all aspects. Randy was getting on to her last night, and she looked at him and said "Aye aye captain"....I could not help it I laughed out loud....Randy did not. As bad as she can be she can also be that sweet, and loving, and just a cuddle bug! She is always asking "Mommy can I hep you" I know its bad, but I hope she never gets the "L" in the word help.

The ladies man
I am going to have to watch this boy! He asked me yesterday if he could have some paper to draw a card for his "girlfriend" Kayla. He drew her a card and said "Do you kow why I made her this card mom? It's to ask her on a date. If we go on a date then we can get maried, and then if we get married then we can kiss" WOW!! I do not know where he get it from!! I told him that sounded serious, and what if Kayla didn't want to get married. Gabe replied " There are some pretty good looking girls at church to, and I bet I can meet all kinds of girls at school." I asked him why he didn't try to be friends with some of the boys. He said " Oh I have friends that are boys, but I want some "girlfriends" Girls are just prettier than boys" Last night we went to Knight's and in the produce section was lady with her twin daughters. Gabe walked up to the girls, who were 8, and said " Hey are you two sisters? Do you know any Thomas songs?" No the girls said " Thats ok, I know plenty" At this point Gabe proceded to sing an entire Thomas song to the girls while he danced. When we went to check out they were in the lane next to us, and came over to our lane to talk to Gabe....I guess the song was effective.

Bla Bla Blog
So I am a terrible blogger. I have decided that I am going to be a much better one. I will start with a quick rundown since my last post.
Gabe had a successful soccer season, or as succesful as it could be for a group of 4 and 5 year olds. He insisted that after each game we toss him in the air and yell Hooray like they do in the movies...we did. Why not? Perhaps next year he will make physical contact with the ball. Honestly I don't care as long as he has fun. His last game was brutal. That happens when the team you are playing has a nine year old they are trying to pass as a five year old. This kid was huge. I half expected to see him drive himself home after the game, and I think he was confused because he thought he was suppose to be playing defensive lineman....wrong football. If we have t play him next season I am going to demand a birth certificate:)
Elizabeth has developed an addiction to clothing. I know that is not surprising, but the problem is she is clearly a 24 month, and can not undrstand why she can not squeze into a 12-18 month. She will pull out a pair of pants that are to small, and cry if she can't get them on, or if she gets them on she parades around in the skin tight things like she is the queen meanwile her legs are turning blue due to the lack of circulation. Shoes are the worst. She will try all day to push that size7 foot into a 5. She is cute, but she is a diva.

So Gabes first soccer practice was yesterday. Verry cold, but oh, so cute!! Everytime Gabe would do something he would turn around and say Ta Da!!......Its going to take a whole lot of tada's to make that team good. At this age there are only six kids per team, and four play at time. Only five of the players showed up, and one refused to go onto the field. So far Gabe's chances of getting to play every game look pretty good. On the field was Gabe, another little boy, and two little girls. The girls...much more athletic than the boys. My favorite moment of the entire practice was when they were warming up one of the kids yelled out "Oh no is this exercise....I hate exercise!" Yep, I think it is going to be a fun season.

Gabe Gabe Gabe
Gabe asked me "Mom do you want to know how dogs have babies?". Curious about his answer I said "Sure". He said "First the dogs get hot then puppies fall out of the momma's butt". I'm not sure where he came up with that one, but we will go with it for now.

My silly girl!!
My daughter has a new "phrase" that she thinks is so funny. Bobby day. We don't have a clue what it means, but she will walk up and say "mommy bobby day", then she will roll with laughter. She will also use it when you are talking to her. She will listen, and then shake her head and giggle and say "bobby day". She uses it almost the way people say " I tell you what". She does it so much that Randy and I have started saying "bobby day". It is kinda catching. Perhaps I should market it. Bobby day T-shirts for sale....maby not. If anyone has any guess as to what bobby day means please let us know. Until then.................

Laughing with my Grandma
I have to say there is not a preson on this earth that has a laugh better than my Grandma, and anyone who knows her would completly agree. Yesterday I talked to her on the phone and I laughed harder than I have in over a month, and it was just at things that most people would not find funny at all, but it is so easy to be silly with her. The entire time I was talking to her I could picture her face with her beautiful laugh lines everytime she smiled. After I got off the phone with her I was thinking to myself that I hope I am as fun as she is some day. About that time my mail ran. In the mail box was a late birthday card from my grandma at the bottom of the card my grandma had writted "p.s. You are lots of fun", and at that moment she made me laugh again.
