My silly girl!!

My daughter has a new "phrase" that she thinks is so funny. Bobby day. We don't have a clue what it means, but she will walk up and say "mommy bobby day", then she will roll with laughter. She will also use it when you are talking to her. She will listen, and then shake her head and giggle and say "bobby day". She uses it almost the way people say " I tell you what". She does it so much that Randy and I have started saying "bobby day". It is kinda catching. Perhaps I should market it. Bobby day T-shirts for sale....maby not. If anyone has any guess as to what bobby day means please let us know. Until then.................

Laughing with my Grandma

I have to say there is not a preson on this earth that has a laugh better than my Grandma, and anyone who knows her would completly agree. Yesterday I talked to her on the phone and I laughed harder than I have in over a month, and it was just at things that most people would not find funny at all, but it is so easy to be silly with her. The entire time I was talking to her I could picture her face with her beautiful laugh lines everytime she smiled. After I got off the phone with her I was thinking to myself that I hope I am as fun as she is some day. About that time my mail ran. In the mail box was a late birthday card from my grandma at the bottom of the card my grandma had writted "p.s. You are lots of fun", and at that moment she made me laugh again.

Today we signed Gabe up for soccer!! I am going to embarass that boy to death. Is there anything cuter than a child in a soccer uniform? I will be chasing him down the field with a camera. He said he thinks he will be real good because he is five, and it would be great if he could get a happy meal after each game. I think the happy meal is a good trade for allowing me to follow him with the camera.
Look at the pic......so stinking cute!!!!

I'm Back!!!!

Ok, so it has been forever since I last posted anything, but that is all about to change. So much has gone on that I don't even know where to begin. As some of you know at Gabe's five year checkup we were informed that his kidneys were allowing blood to pass, and that could indicate kidney disease. On Wednesday he finally had his appointment with Childrens Hospital, and we found out that the lower part of his kidney is thin. He should not have any problems related to it, but will have to be checked every six months to make sure his kidneys are functioning properly. Gabe was so sweet and nice to the Dr. The Dr. asked him if he was always this nice. Gabe replied "Yes because if boys are sweet then sometimes they get $300 to buy something cool." When we came out of the hospital we entered the Arkansas blizzard of 2011, and ended up in a traffic jam with 33 jacknifed 18 wheelers....fun... but we made it home safe, a little less saine, but we made it.
